5/10: It’s Beach Bag Season!

Everyone rejoice! Memorial Day is only two weeks away!!!

Just because you’re on the beach, doesn’t mean you can’t express your style! By adding a few beach friendly accessories such as a hat, sunglasses, or a caftan you can transform your summer look.

Since bags are the trend this week, we will start with beach bags. When searching for one of these summer totes, I look for something that can be easily translated from the beach to the streets! I hope that some of these colorful options will enhance your summer wardrobes!

5/8: The “VBBP” part deux: The Classics

1990 Authentic, Vintage Coach Bag

Soooo maybe vinyl bags aren’t your thing. Don’t worry, I get it. To satisfy the masses, the second installment of the Vintage Bag Blog Post “VBBP” will focus on classic purses.

You will notice that the majority of these bags are vintage Coach. I do not consider myself to be the biggest Coach lover, but I do think their vintage purses are timeless and would be a great addition to any wardrobe. Hopefully some of these finds will satisfy your fancy!

I was asked by one of my oldest and best friends to blog about handbags. I quickly agreed and set out on my mission. What I didn’t realize when I agreed to this task was the plethora of bags I would have to sort through. When I first searched “vintage purse,” I came up with 40,000 results! In my initial scan I found designer bags, leather bags, woven bags, evening bags, clutches, coin purses, diaper bags, lunch bags, and more! Wow, how the hell am I going to sift through this!

Enter Grace, my mother and self proclaimed eBay expert. While looking at her ebay watch list, I was inspired by two unique vintage bags. I decided the vintage bag blog post “VBBP” would have to come in installments. The first installment will be my latest obsession, vintage vinyl bags.
